In the eye of the maelstrom of formlessness and megalomania that pervades the world of architecture despite the global crisis, the Chinese study MAD presented in partnership to design a new skyscraper in Chongqing, a booming cities over the country. The tower-called urban forest by its creators, is a superposition of platforms, irregular sinuous profile are displaced each on the adjacent commercial building to create a lean and looking unstable. All levels are sewn by a cylindrical core on which the trays are suspended floors, which embody the livable area with large windows allowing expansive terraces before allowing you to enjoy excellent views of the city. This gives the effect that each floats on the lower floor. In addition, the generous renders doubtful-realism-planted trees at each level so as to get the feel of a forest stand in awe of vertical or as they call it, an urban forest.
