Built with 420 supermarket plastic containers for an architectural competition.

The Faculty of Architecture of Oporto organizes an annual competition for a temporary Bar in Park City, Oporto, busy place for all students.

Designers and Teresa Aguiar Diogo Portugal Otto bar designed and built this time with 420 IKEA Supermarket plastic containers. The modulated white cube was built by the students themselves and may become a bar through the opening of one of its walls, which rises and folds into itself. The cube is 4.50 meters high and 9 m2.

Cubic plastic containers are semi-translucent and have a variation in size. Are attached to a metal frame.

At night they are illuminated using LED light, which in turn move according to the music qe is passed at the time.
