Rooftecture M by Shuhei Endo
After Rooftecture M, Shuhei Endo has been completed in 2010 Rooftecture S, a new proposal which remains the coating of steel and overhangs. Although this is a big difference with the previous house, as Endo is more than ever, with curved volumes combined with straight lines. The combination of steel with the pine wood is a gamble that certainly creates an unusual contrast.
The overhang allows the entry of air and light into the private rooms upstairs, ensuring optimum occupancy and protecting the privacy of its inhabitants. The common areas are open but abroad, highlighting the living room fully glazed top floor. The interior is partly consistent with the exterior, with large open spaces where glass walls and sheets of isolated pine interior and operate together like skin. The house in the Osaka metropolitan area.
