Recycling: two departments together “all white”
The old and new, are the key elements of the intervention and restructuring by Associated Design Studio Bettinelli, in a building in the center of Bergamo, Italy.
From the union of two departments was a new living space, tailored to meet the needs of a family. The work was designed to enhance the existing characteristic of the treatment, as the original parquet floor in the living area, recovered and restored to new. The floor is a thing of the past to revive the new room.
The staircase is white lacquered wood, and is the sign of the new layout of the house, which is on the lower level the living and dining area in addition to the master suite.
Minimalist line and the white color creates an interesting contrast Concel original old floor.
In the upper wing develops children’s room with room for play and study, with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Minimal coherence occurs in the two levels, plus the choice of white “Total White” throughout the department. Completes the setting with the choice of furniture designed in white lacquered wood and pieces of design firms: the table “Less” by Jean Nouvelle, the chair “Laleggera” Richard Blumer, and the lamp suspended “Skygarden” by Marcel Wanders for Flos.
