Pedralbes house design by FOA

The house is situated in one of the most exclusive Barcelona, in a neighborhood that takes its name. It was designed by FOA and was completed in 2008. Has been considered as a paradigm of adaptation to nature, with an impact similar to Van der Rohe was the Farnsworth House. House is adapting to the land and not vice versa. It is situated on a steep hill, 350 square meters are divided into three floors. One of them, low, save the difference of the hill, the second contains the main entrance and the common rooms, while the third houses the private rooms.

Pedralbes House maintains linearity with the garden while providing magnificent views. All rooms have windows and are connected to the rest through terraces and at all levels have the same connection to the outside garden.The pelfíl is characterized by its curved, integrating in nature. The facade is covered with wood, harmonizing the impact on the landscape.
