Nautical Sports Services Building Portonovo by Diaz y diaz

The plot for the building services Portonovo nautical sports is located at the end of the marina breakwater Portonovo (Sanxenxo, Pontevedra).

The project aims at expanding and improving facilities for nautical sports services Portonovo port. This will be a partial demolition of the existing building and relocation of the different uses inside.

It is wrapping the original building with new facade of a black phenolic panel to give the Club a more modern image by ensuring their waterproofing and insulation in this area is so exposed.

Addition is attached along its southern front a volume independent structure provides new spaces useful for users. The height above ground, will be tailored to the height of the current cover.

The resulting volumes were developed in the east-west longitudinal axis allowing two large walls that open onto the beach Portonovo (north) and to the port (south).

Woodworking Cutting reflects the bar’s container cargo.
