Local design library, “Library Vila” by Isay Weinfeld

The facade is composed of modules that turn on themselves, changing his position depending on the time of day. Library “Vila” is a book selling business located in San Pablo, Brazil, in front of library modules that turn on themselves, designed by Studio Architecture Brazilian Winfeld Isay.

Completed in 2007, the project includes the renovation of a house with two floors plus a basement floor.

The interior walls are covered with shelves filled with books from the iso-to-ceiling openings also contain books.

A floor level basement is the space for children, a small connection n auitorium for lectures and courses.
