We’re used to seeing more and more developments in furniture design for the home, but designers also believe in smaller homes. Although we normally see original furniture such as chairs and tables for dining, you can find furniture designed especially for use by children, and denoting modern and creative designs.

This is the case of innovative furniture for children created by Masahiro Minami, a purely creative design and great appeal to children. In this unit designed to entertain the kids, merges the functionality, originality and space saving.

Masahiro Minami is a student of industrial design in Japan, and who has put all his ingenuity in developing this children’s furniture. This beautiful set of furniture has been created for children, and are made up of different parts

The furniture pieces that make up this child, they cover a small table that could be used as a desk, reading, drawing and playing, a bench to sit, and a cabinet with drawers or compartments for different, which, in turn, emulate kitchen. All these items can join, and so neatly compose a kind of comfortable, where you can save several items that children use to play.

When each of the parts are separated, they become a fun and entertaining game ended for the children, while the re-arranged every one of them, they form a compact unit, and easy storage.

Something interesting in this type of furniture for children, is that it allows not only fun, but also has an educational purpose.
