House light enters through slots by Eastern Design Office

Slots sculptural design: achieve a superlative treatment of the income of natural light.
Designed for a woman 80 years the study of Eastern Architects, called Home slotted concrete offers its owner a place with soft lighting and an interesting experience scale and privacy.

Located in an old Japanese city land is 7.5 meters wide and 50 meters deep, the house has long slots along a wall thickness of 22 cm, while providing enough privacy required for privacy.

The slots are located at strategic locations to illuminate the interior of the house during the day. The glass is often placed in the concrete without frames, and light passes through thin doors used to separate rooms, used in traditional Japanese architecture.

These slots allow for greater light sensitivity. The interior is bright beyond expectations. The light passing through the slots, changing climate, season and time of day. The architects say that the light entering through the slots, I remember old poetic scenarios.
