The owner wanted a modern house and basic, in contrast to the answer that surrounds it, as it is an antique palace in the area of Porta Venezia in Milan.

Completely remodeled inside, the apartment of 230 m2 was redesigned to facilitate the introduction of natural light
The hall, originally narrow and dark, is transformed into a broad passage which are arranged in sequence architectural volumes that house the rooms, bathroom and kitchen. A sliding glass door moves according to user needs.

The project was undertaken by architect Marta Marcucci, and provided a very functional organization of space, adapted to the lifestyle of a family of four.

Transparent glass, resin, wooden and steel gray, are the materials used that tone with clear white walls give the room a bright and show the articulation of volumes present in the large space.

Artificial lighting, tiny, and characterized by a lighting system creates an evocative atmosphere.
