The land where this building was uprooted by adjoining complex directly with two large buildings in a canyon.
Because of this, we proposed the creation of six vertical housing, construction trowel only 50% of the terrain, leaving a large green area.Conceptually the design of the architectural plan of a half circle to form the ventilation patio coinciding with the yard of the neighboring building to harness and share the lighting.
The central volume was rotated 45 degrees from the center of the circle and release as a result we get the volume that houses the imposing room six meters high achieving have in this volume three facades attached transparent panels defining carefully positioned to avoid overlooking the boundaries, creating within it a sense of freedom and light.
The main objective of this program was to get all the spaces have views to the green area without receiving immediate adjoining buildings.
With this rebuff a facade that we develop it generates twice the face and virtually all living areas share it.
We use the rough concrete in its natural state of traditional formwork as the main material, allowing the imperfections were a quality of design.
The main facade sober generate a pictorial image, using panels that light up when you turn the volume.
Behind these green tinted glass houses the gym and complementary areas.
The housing unit is developed on 400 square meters distributed in three bedrooms, two living areas, living, dining and services.
It works like a typical household in the area, however you may get three terraces per unit to enjoy the privileged views directly.
The result was a building that is defined by freedom from prejudice rectangular or finished the green area built in a style that does not belong to a particular time. -via-
