Baker Street Building by Make Architects

The project consisted of a radical rehabilitation office building of the fifties in London. Make Architetcs draft is a comprehensive renewal of the same, emphasizing above all a skin facade made of glass and steel atrium that protects seven storeys high. Rehabilitation course at the same time a change of use, increasing the usable area of the building, featuring a shopping arcade on the ground floor. The project has been certified BREEAM rated “excellent” in terms of energy efficiency. The facade has a spectacular night lighting that works as bait, while helping to achieve dialogue between the new modern building and neighboring buildings.
