102 Dwellings in Carabanchel by dosmasuno Architects

The project proposes a clear systematization of social housing. Designed by Dosmasuno Architects, the building is composed of a core, which stand as the architects “clouds on empty.”  These projections, arranged randomly on the main facade, exterior differentiating the various types of housing that contains the building, creating an interesting sense of movement, which would lack if everything had been arranged in a block.

The core has been built in concrete from a single high-precision mold, second projections have been attached to this thanks to a metal frame. According dosmasuno this constructive process, “facilitates the creation work, annuls the appearance of debris during the construction process, and accelerate the implementation deadlines.”

The square on which the building sits wing works instead of integrating and differentiating element. Has been designed with both large open spaces and tight, creating a dead-end street surrounded by greenery set against unadorned vegetable concourses. This podium dark contrasts with the brightness of immaculate white building. Besides being a playground and meeting, presents the various entrances to the building and the garage.
